Why would China need to seize the factories? They could just keep the product. Seizing the factories, that's meant for a show.

China has figured out that if an R is in the WH, they can use fear to control us, as they control the Democrats and the media.

Yet another reason we shouldn't rely on them for PPE.

My guess is that China is still working with the Democrats to hurt our country so that the Dems can gain power.

If countries around the globe don’t start banning incoming/outgoing flights from China, then more fool them.

The CCP has made China a rogue actor.

It is good...the problem is that we can't compete with China as they operate and we operate as long as we continue to ensure viable markets around the globe for Chinese manufactured products AND people with power and influence in Washington also have financial interests in China. The numbers aren't as skewed as we think they are if you consider the entire EU and the US/Mexico and Canada as a combined market...but Chinese financial interests depend on a viable China and....wait for it....a Viable west also now depends on a viable China because the people with money and power have invested in China and that investment is far more important to them than the west....as long as the west has the military might to prevent the ChiComs from seizing that investment and providing safe markets is the biggest weapon the west has those investments are safe...and we will do anything to make certain those people's financial interests are taken care of because they are also the people who make those kinds of decisions.

Medical supplies are strategic critical materials and must be manufactured domestically.

Spot on. We also didn't even shut down drastically enough for elimination to be a viable option. We've basically been limping along with a reproductive rate just slightly below 1 in most states for a long time without accomplishing anything. Entire thing has been a shite show.

Here is Chinese reality. This was on our Board at work for the Marketing and Sales Team.

A Chinese Refrigerator factory was having quality control issues. Refrigerators were failing at an alarming rate. The Party Officials visited the factory to set a goal of increasing the quality control situation. Turns out that Party Officials were told to buy the refrigerators and were complaining about the constant failures. Quality in the factory did not increase. The Party arrived with 20 soldiers. All of Management was marched out into the rice paddies behind the factory. All of the employees ordered to witness the new Quality Control Policy. The entire Management Staff was shot in the rice paddy. A new group of managers were chosen from the employees that had witnessed the executions. They were marched into the factory and told to get back to work. Quality increased 100 fold......Interesting the method of incentive by the Chinese Communist Party.

If you think for a moment that the Party simply issued a purchase order and demanded first in line approval .... quit drinking from the toilet water ... The Party issued this order ..."ALL of your products are now being bought from the Communist Party. Sell to anyone else and there will be a new owner of the factory shortly."

Remember, several prominent Billionaires simply vanished during the Wuhan lock downs for simply complaining about their being shuttered in.
