Loved that show. It dominated my kindergarten life. We made the wrist communicators out of that drawing paper and used paste to glue it to our coats. Good times.

2 questions:
1. Why do they have abandoned nasa plans?
2. Will these planes be 100% electric powered?

Hopefully China’s top Commie leaders are on the first flight of this disaster.

I’m planning to have sex with Margot Robbie sometime in the next year.
Let’s see who has more success.

Boy when that Pudnocker crashes there won't even be molecules left.

Looks like a bunch of propaganda. The Chinese struggle with jet engines in their fighter aircraft and still rely on Russian jet engines for their military aircraft. Their hypersonic glider has an margin of error of 24 miles. Their DF10 anti aircraft carrier missile has never been shown to strike a moving target and they are building mock up US naval vessels on LAND to test anti ship missiles which is crazy considering ships are moving targets.
Speed is one thing. Navigation is another and the Chinese seem to have some difficulty with the total package. They remind me of Russian fighter aircraft - great speed and agility but terrible avionics.
Basically the Chinese have a lot of issues they are trying to avoid in order to make it look like they are successful. It's like watching a middle class guy drive a Ferrari and think he's wealthy.

It comes as China fired a hypersonic missile around the globe in October with the US left reeling by the terrifying display of military strength.
If they can do it, we can do it if we haven't perfected the technology already. Where is this plane going to land when it slows down? And Elon Musk can put passenger seats in Starship and put people around the world in about an hour. I've heard Gwynne Shotwell (SpaceX President/COO) discuss that already.

I used to love Battle of the Planets back in the day.

So, China managed to steal Aurora project intellectual property too, huh?

Who's time is so valuable these days with technology allowing you to work from anywhere that you could possibly justify that kind of outlay of money? Sounds like an ego trip to me.

Well their Chinese four wheelers have such a good reputation, why not move on to building supersonic jets?
Maybe people will sell them on street corners during Christmas season too.

Ten years after that, China aims to be operating a fleet of hypersonic aircraft that can transport 10 passengers to anywhere on Earth within an hour.
Sounds exciting but that doesn’t factor in
the TSA minimum of one hour search and grope
and the pre boarding Covid test

Trouble is...you have no idea what the military is up to.
I know that whatever our military is up to, China has stolen it. You can bet on that. They have spies everywhere as well as a very capable cyber program.
