shite you wish. Biden wouldn’t do crap the the Chinese he is owned by them.

Hell, we will be lucky if we aren’t in mandatory RE-education camps in my lifetime.

with modern drone technology it seems as though it would be much easier to overwhelm these defense systems for a lot cheaper than say 30 years ago.

Well we could easily make China look like hell if we wanted to.

Drones are a joke to a carrier group. Hypersonic missiles are not, especially when they can spam them.

And they could do the same to us, what's your point? They also have 5x the population.

No they can’t.

Why are so many of you getting so offended over me saying the US has a far stronger and more advanced military than China? I thought everyone here hated China and we could all agree on this one thing at least.

This is just their way of trying to appear strong to other countries globally. Especially while we are so weak globally right now with Biden in place, and our military purging the best of the best.

Because you live in a fantasy-land and this is serious business. 1995 was a long time ago.

The CCP/China should take out a full page ad in The NY Times and Wall Street Journal thanking the US Corporatocracy and the American people for the transfer of advanced manufacturing/industrial technology from the US to China. If not for unbridled greed by DC politicians and their corporate partners the CCP would not have this opportunity to surpass the US as the world's alpha superpower.

Probability of the formation of a committee to understand why Trump made the Chinese do this: Extremely High

Lots of apologies and soul searching and we’ll give them Taiwan if they promise not to do it again.

They almost certainly can.

What they can't do is deal with the consequences.

Yeah, I thought about that after I hit enter. To be more accurate, they can't deal with the potential consequences. They might laugh at the actual consequences.

Hypersonic missiles are way overrated. They can and have been shot down.

Our military is far, far more advanced than the Chinese military. They look big and bad, and they do have numbers, but their technology is still severely lacking.

Communist nations will never have the technological advantage, their very culture discourages innovation. They steal any technology they use. Espionage is the bigger risk.

Joe Biden does not inspire confidence.

I imagine they each have an Ohio class sub close by. And each one can have 20 tridents (each of those with up to 8 warheads).

The US also has over 5000 nuclear warheads.

The above poster would be correct... that such an attach by China would result in the worlds largest glass deposit being formed.

It looks like all surface ships have increasing vulnerabilities as long range precision missiles become more difficult to defend against.

During controlled testing, yes. They've also been missed.

And those are single missiles. I don't think we've ever shot down multiples during a test, although if we had we hopefully wouldn't be making it public. A good college friend I talk to on a regular basis is VP at a missile defense contractor, and all he can say is "hitting a bullet with a bullet is difficult".

Nobody has said otherwise, but it also doesn't matter in certain areas, and hypersonic missiles is one of them. The tech needed to shoot one is a couple of orders of magnitude simpler than the tech needed to stop one.

Exactly. Sad but soooo true.

I think the only thing we'd have to do is take out their big legislature bldg when all the leaders are in it and the whole nation will fall into collapse.

We may celebrate DC being taken down a leg or 2 here, but the core of America is bred into us here...for now at least we have many like that. There the communism "love" is based on false info they are fed. So I think the whole country would break up into separate nations. Taking out their big dam could be a second "lesson" if needed.

My only major concern is how do we root out all the sleeper agents they now have on our soil. Thanks to our own politicians and universities.

FIFY

If China wants to invade Taiwan, then they will do it. The bought and paid for, feckless shite stain that you voted for will probably support them doing so. You are such a tool.
