It’s hard to do better than a 100% hit rate on incoming missiles. Even those of the “hypersonic” variety.

Bud, they’ve been shooting down “hypersonic missiles” in Ukraine with Patriots almost every night for the last week with a 100% success rate. The Russians and a Chinese run a joint program on hypersonic missile technology which does not bode well for the Chinese missiles. The patriot batteries have been the target and the Russians have yet to destroy even a single launch vehicle(Patriots employ 8-12). They did minimal damage to one with falling debris from a missile intercept and it’s slated to be repaired in Ukraine if it hasn’t been repaired already.

Carriers do not travel alone. They are escorted by other warships that carry surface to air missiles capable of defending the strike group.

No, we have maintained purposeful ambiguity since the Joint Communiqué with the PRC in 1972. The Chinese maintain there is no ambiguity but that relies on the Chinese translation of English which is very much ambiguous and specifically without precision.

Your 100 drones would fall into the sea without a single air defense missile being fired. Russia successfully jammed Ukrainian drones two days ago preventing most of them from reaching their targets in Moscow. I would think a carrier strike group would have even more robust drone defenses.

It does go into depth but it wreaks of Russian propaganda. But the question remains, If the Russians did indeed destroy a complete Patriot Battery then what has been shooting down their hypersonic missiles in their subsequent attacks? If they really did destroy an entire battery as they claimed then they wouldn’t have waited two days to try again. They would have hit their military targets in Kiev within hours. They did not employ the strategy of carrying out 2 missiles volleys in an 8 hour period (which both failed miserably. They managed to kill a couple children with debris) until 2 days ago when they claimed that they destroyed a patriot system over a week ago. It just doesn’t add up. The Patriot battery that Russia claims is destroyed is obviously still in play. The other battery in Ukrainian use was located near Kharkiv oblast as recently as two weeks ago when it shot down 4 enemy aircraft in a matter of minutes.

Yet the people of Taiwan never wanted to be part of China. The only claim China has on Taiwan is that the idiots at the UN gave Taiwan to China after their Japanese rulers surrendered. The UN didn't ask the people of Taiwan what they wanted.

Well it appears that you’re at least somewhat correct because they are sending them two new launch vehicles. Must be to replace 2 that got destroyed or damaged. They didn’t destroy a whole battery though.
