Very publicly. How publicly? In an opinion piece in The NY Times saying Russia needs an “off-ramp” from the highway to hell that is the Ukrainian invasion.

Imma highlight the part that matters. It’s the part where the writer calls Russia an “economic burden” to China.

But who’s the writer? Probably some hopeful airhead like Tom Friedman, right?

quote:

Oh.

This a warning from Beijing to the Kremlin, make no mistake. We can quit you, Vlad! You’ve had your fun, now it’s time to declare victory and go home.

Whether it makes any difference is another question.

It seems the globalists are ramping up the pressure. Let’s see what chess pieces Putin moves as a response.

The Chinese are a people of deception more than they are of fighting

Don't get me wrong, they're ruthless but are only for war if they can't beat you through cheating, lieing, and deception...at least that's what history tells me

If China is going to back Russia, the war on Ukraine is going to hurt business for them. They don't want none of that, but it's probably too late.

Spoiler alert, it won't.

Putin is in too deep at this point, he really has no choice but to go all in and continue escalating until Ukraine legitimately falls. He didn't bat an eye at all the sanctions thrown their way and the ruination of their economy and his people - especially the oligarchs taking a massive hit.

He's going all-in, and a strongly worded letter from someone that isn't even technically in China's government probably won't even be on his radar at this point. He can't back down without looking like a weak failure that put his country and people in peril for no reason.

I am curious, who funds this Center for China and GLOBALIZATION organization?

The global crowd does admire China’s authoritarian style of controlled capitalism.

Alex Berenson is not a sketchy author. And he quotes the NYTs here.

Substack is the place were censored authors and reporters can publish their works like Alex Berenson, Dr. Malone, Glenn Greenwald, Emerald Robinson, etc.

Putin was likely given assurances by China that China would help them with this, but, in classic China fashion, it was likely puffery.

If China is truly signaling they're not going to keep supporting Russia, they're proper fricked.

Putin should have known that China Joe would prostitute out his country more than he could ever dream of with Russia.

China wasn't super thrilled about this from the outset, they've just kept their response muted because of their relationship.

That's changing
