And not a single mention that it was a hate crime.

Apparently Chauvins family was t told he was stabbed and maybe didn't know where he was.
So can't remember, did SCOTUS close any chance of an appeal or just something procedural forcing him to go up thru the court system?

Brace yourself for my take on this. Or probably more accurately, just a couple of observations. Firstly, it’s common as the dickens for former law enforcement officials sentenced to hard labor to be atop the “inmates to stab or beat senseless” list. For obvious reasons.
Which leads to secondly, considering the very long time and universally known reality in the first part, which has been common knowledge to those who run prisons and jails, to the dismay of I’m sure a good handful of folks here, the jailers have a legal obligation to keep inmates safe. Over which this facility has in my view very badly shite the bed and IF the story is even true and accurate to begin with, fairly substantial lawsuit incoming. It’s also a very common practice for “high risk” prisoners to be housed in a “special protective unit” to mitigate the possibility of this exact thing occurring.
And no I’m not advocating for there to be a lawsuit here. Just stating the apparent reality. But I’d probably think about it if the family called me. Lol

If advocate for them to sue. Worse people get paid for less.

Criminals are POS but it’s not up to others to take care of business. However much the justice system is fricked prisoners are no better than one another and it’s the job for officers to ensure safety. If someone commits a violent act in prison they should be executed. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on this and this is mine.

Hear hear. And lest we forget, that safe environment to the fullest extent possible has the dual purpose effect of safety for corrections officers too.

Hiding evidence that they knew about it.

were you one of the 50 current and former intelligence officers who signed that letter?

There were 143 murders in prison in 2019. Are you really surprised to find out that cops are treated poorly in prison? Especially by those who feel they are in there because they feel they were wronged by law enforcement?
And Chauvin was ostensibly moved to that Federal prison for that very reason. The reports that the medium security Federal prison did not house violent inmates was obviously not correct.

They suppressed it by claiming they “believed” it to be Russian disinformation. Were you in a coma in 2020?

Day 1 - FBI is gone. Any candidate that does not commit to that is a non-starter for consideration.

actually, it's one FBI informant still doing work for the FBI while in prison

Since we all know it was a lie that he killed Floyd. They want Chauvin dead.
The last thing they want is Chauvin exonerated. It formed BLM.
All of the race-baiting cases and what Eric Holder, Obama, Obama's admin created need to be shown for what they were.
