JUST IN: The man who stabbed Derek Chauvin in prison was 52-year-old John Turscak who previously worked as an FBI informant.

How ironic.

Chauvin was stabbed 22 times with a knife that was crafted by Turscak.

This is where it gets interesting. Turscak was in prison after being found guilty of racketeering and conspiring to kill a gang rival.

Before that, he worked as an FBI informant against the Mexican Mafia organization.

When being sentenced in 2001, Turscak admitted that he carried out crimes while working undercover as an informant to the FBI.

"I didn’t commit those crimes for kicks. I did them because I had to if I wanted to stay alive. I told that to the [FBI] agents and they just said, ‘Do what you have to do.’" (LA Times)

Wild.

It’s past time to have a real conversation about abolishing the FBI.

22 times?

Did he just get tired or did he think 25 would have been too much?

There is always doing to be a federal law enforcement agency under DOJ so are you just wanting a new acronym or what?

He’ll probably get pardoned by Biden now.

Am I the only apparently dense one who thought Turscak was a brand name in that sentence? @me

He also claimed he did it on "black Friday" in honor of "black lives matter".

The attempted murder coincides with the release of Fall of Minneapolis and new information into the 2020 riots, which helped put Biden into office.

Now we learn that the killer worked for the FBI as an informant—the same FBI that wiretapped Trump and tried to have him removed from office in 2017 by targeting his NSA director, Gen. Flynn, along with all of the other political activities they have taken against Trump since that time.

The conspiracy theories just write themselves.

Anything that’s a conspiracy theory is more than likely fact or mostly true.

Like most of the federal agencies, especially the health agencies, I think cleaning house, creating a new culture, and mandating transparency, with only the most necessary exceptions, are in order. A name change wouldn’t be bad either, just to symbolize the break with the past.

The would be assassin previously worked for the federal government as a contract killer according to his prior statements.

You’re correct…he had max 2 more years to go prob less before being released with 80% requirement on Federal time…NO ONE does that…unless he was certifiable insane.

… over twenty years ago.

Is it unthinkable that a former cop who murdered a man in custody would face being attacked in prison?

What would the FBI gain by doing this?
