Change My Mind: Fat Activism is only about forcing/shaming thin people into fricking them.

they just want an alternative to being lesbians, even if it involves brainwashing

I think its crab bucket mentality.
When you put crabs in a bucket, if one crab tries to escape, the other crabs pull him down
Same with fat people. They see other people working out, eating right, staying in shape so they attempt to pull those people down, instead of lift themselves up by also eating right and staying in shape.

No, it’s about making excuses for living an unhealthy lifestyle.

It’s just a way of attempting to justify their laziness.
Mug glands!
No, it’s your cheesy poofs.

I don’t think it has to do with sex, I think it’s about control. A society that is too fat and lazy to fight is a controllable society

Has more to do with pushing the belief that they can’t do anything about it.
But, as a friend says “you don’t see many fat people in concentration camps”
They can change, they just don’t wish to.

Fat people that are unhappy with themselves want to drag other people into their misery.

That’s never going to happen. It’s human nature. They keep trying to change it

NPR did a whole hour long piece on Fat Positive Movement. They had several fat chicks on during the bit.
When they began the story, which was including online questions, they made the following declaration:
“Let me say for the purposes of this story we will not accept or consider any questions or statements of a health focus. Too many times, the summoning of health questions is used to shame fat people or inflict negative connotations to an important movement of acceptance and non discrimination. So be aware of those realities.”

Lots of Amish and Mennonites in my area.
Not one is fat.
Fat is a choice.

Fat acceptance isn’t just about fringes. Like the types that will say some 300 pound women on a magazine cover is beautiful and healthy.
It’s also the average person now. A person who is seen as normal now would’ve been considered fat in the 90s. Conversely someone that was considered normal in the 90s would be seen as skinny today. Society’s perception of what constitutes being fat is continuing to change which is one of the reasons why society is becoming fatter.
You’ll have some guy that does no strength training and is 6’0 230 pounds talking about looking deathly ill if they lost 30 pounds. No it’s more you’ve become used to seeing fat people that anything less is seen as extreme

People who are gluttons want normal people to see them as attractive so that they can continue being gluttons.

We need to bring back fat shaming. It's the only way to change the paradigm. Look what it did for smoking. Smoking rates are a tenth of what they used to be because of peer pressure and social stigma.
