You would think that a story about something so serious would come with some proof or at least a link, as opposed to a women ranting on social media.

Great, but first, look to whom I am replying, and second, you and I agree. There was no specific piece of legislation that said pharmaceutical ads were illegal.
I mean, I'm not delving into the overall thread discussion, but, for the purposes of this point, there was definitively aa time when drug ads on TV weren't a thing and that time was NOT at the choosing of the drug companies.

Sad your side can't argue the points.
I have seen the increase.
The statistics show an increase.
You deny the increase.

The fact that you can’t understand how his examples are directly arguing your point is very telling.
You are the worst type of dumb: dumb who thinks he’s smart. Sad.

Good sheep! Now, go get another Covid booster. :)

Someone that thinks they know everything there is to know because they have a specialty is the most dangerous of all.

Yeah I totally missed that he found two unrelated things that trended the same. I posted about an increase not a correlation.
Your post should have been directed at yourself.

He’s extremely emotional. Posted atleast 20 times ITT. We should all just pray he doesn’t have kids.

The medical consensus doesn’t deny that autism diagnoses have increased. What they reject are two different claims: (1) that vaccines cause autism, and (2) that the actual underlying rate of autism in the population is skyrocketing. What’s tricky (and easy for people to exploit) is that diagnoses can go up for reasons like broader criteria, better screening, and more awareness, even if the underlying biology of autism hasn’t changed. That mismatch between numbers on paper and biology on the ground is part of what makes this issue so easy to demagogue. If you'd like, we can get into why they feel pretty confident about these.

When I was growing up I knew of one person with a peanut allergy through high school. I saw one person have a seizure.
That’s because doctors facilitated the increase of peanut allergies with all their super smartness.

Trust celebrities. Trust the media. Trust “the science”. They have always told us what’s best for us

No, the original poster said they were illegal. I simply said that pharmaceutical advertisements have never been illegal. Your point about the change at a department level was more interesting than the initial point. Thank you for that info.

You have no idea what you're talking about so stop.

Odd that some of you are so dug into the medical establishment.
Posted on 9/1/25 at 9:09 pm to jbdawgs03
Lol. I'm just asking what you are going to do when you are wrong and that there is no relationship between vaccines and autism. Will you continue avoid the question or are you going to actually look at the sources you use and your own ability to analyze them?

Too many unneeded vaccines?
That is the axis point of why such an increase is related to the number of vaccines.
If there is no correlation and the increase is misdiagnosis, then you better start getting your brethren in order. Call them out. Challenge them. Or you going to sit by and collect that Dr's salary and shut up, a la the Medical Community and Covid?

But you can’t convince me something isn’t causing a massive rise in mental issues with our young people.
Mental health issues are an entirely different issue than that of autism.
But, I believe the root of that lies in the fact that we are now seeing the fruits of the first generation of children/young people raised in the eternally connected world. From the time they're able to hold their heads up they have a screen shoved in front of their face. They're raised in world that has poorly sought to meld the fantasy that is social media and real life. They lack the ability to differentiate the two, and maybe they have become one and the same. They lack coping mechanisms that generations prior developed because they have no refuge from the world.
Couple all of that with the hyperpartisanism, "Us vs Them" mentality that is fostered by damn near everyone, and you have a disconnected youth with little respect for others. Add in a continued turn away from community, with a collapse of close knit neighborhoods, bigger schools, bigger churches, etc. and these younger generations have no real foundation to stand on.

And what will you do when it decreases? Will you continue to worship at the feet of big pharma like a good sheep?

I'll probably look at the data as I always do. Also you didn't answer any part of my question. Sad!
