How much of SpaceX’s budget do you think went to landing boosters? China has landed on both the moon and Mars which SpaceX hasn’t (not saying they couldn’t). Not crazy to think they have the technology to drop a weapon on a carrier from space

Because they do. You're correct that we gave some away, but our universities that do defense related research are infested with them. They've also stolen from companies who DIDN'T agree to the exchange because they give no shits about our intellectual property.

If it had recently been in port, that would have been widely known. Finding a carrier in coastal waters near where the general public had last seen it isn't a big deal.

The CCP would be at least 20-30 years behind the US if not for the greed of the US Corporatocracy……we (working/middle class) were sold out for peanuts and thousands of politicians, corporate honchos and institutional investment companies were rewarded monetarily for destroying the US .

I doubt the goal of having super carriers is to hide them. The CCP knowing where they are is one thing. Being able to penetrate its defenses are another.
Side note. The US did an exercise to try and sink a super carrier once that was being aged out. it took 4 weeks and eventually had to board the ship and plant explosives to make her sink. If by chance China was able to strike an aircraft carrier with a missile, it would take about a hundred of them to make it sink. And a hundred is a low ball estimate
