given the state of seeker technology, i think you could take out the elevators and seriously degrade it's effectiveness if not take it completely out of the fight.

I took a History class taught by Professor Ben Martin at LSU in the late 90’s. Contemporary US History I believe it was. Martin had worked in military intelligence as an analyst I believe. Worked for Kissinger if his lectures were to be believed.
He once told us that spysats were so sophisticated that they could tell what brand of soft drink was lying on its side in the Quad. Not by it’s color. But by reading the writing on the can. What blew our minds was that he told us the US Military had this tech when he was working for them. IE-when Kissinger was running foreign policy.
To think the US has not kept pace is foolish. To think that we don’t have to work harder to ensure we stay there is likewise. Is this alarming? Not really. But it’s something to stay vigilant about for sure.

If there was a way to destroy satellites in space you can destroy a lot of the technology.
You could probably win wars by doing this.
