CBS News reporters don’t want to cover Alaska Democrat scandal — Pushing back against Bari Weiss.
quote:
"This is a scandal," Weiss declared to staff. According to multiple sources on the call, several CBS News staffers pushed back at Weiss' enthusiasm over the bombshell New York Times report alleging Democrats schemed to find a Dan Sullivan to run against incumbent Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan, in hopes of aiding Democratic opponent Mary Peltola.
quote:
Many on the call shrugged it off as routine politics and said Republicans have also engaged in similar scheming. When Weiss asked for other examples of ballot confusion, "Face the Nation" moderator Margaret Brennan pointed to New Hampshire Senate candidate John Sununu, suggesting that midterm voters might confuse him with his brother, former New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu.

That's b.s. CBS might be one of the few that have tried to track this guy down. Even went to Petersburg, AK. Saw it last night

I’m sure there is a transcript of the call. Weiss hasn’t denied what they quoted her as saying.

None of them are even considering the most obvious potential abuse.
How many towns has Daniel Sullivan campaigned and said something ridiculous he knows will offend voters and connect the opinion with Dan Sullivan?

I agree its a scandal, but even only going back a decade it isnt even a top twenty scandal that CBS (and others) have either ignored or blatantly lied about.

If they refuse, fire them. Case closed.

This could well likely be the least surprising item we see come across the board today.
Anyone who can deny with a straight face that the traditional, “legacy” mainstream media sources are little more than activists/propagandists for the Democrat Party is either a Democrat themselves (so they like it) or is just one who is so willfully obtuse as to not be regarded as a serious person.
Fortunately, there remain a relative small handful of independent journalists out there who still care about their profession and the story more than the political narrative it paints.

I hope Brennan was called out as a hack for even trying to compare the two. She attempted to dumb it down so much that she actually tried to equate coincidence with causation.
That level of a blatant lack of integrity for the position she holds should result in a firing as it helps paint the entire organization as similarly lacking integrity.

Inside sources say.
Covers it all in today's msm. I believe it's the number one source still used versus the current POTUS since 2015.

Which is nothing new for Margaret Brennan, not a journalist, but a reporter activist

I don't think he has 'campaigned' at all - other than agreeing to have his name put on the ballot. Not sure he has even left his village.
This is nothing more than an obvious dirty trick to steal a few votes from the incumbent senator Sullivan.
Typical scum democrat action - the next time democrats do something good will be the first in more than a quarter century.
yave the republic.
I greatly fear we are too far down the wrong fork in the road.

are the real power behind democrat survival in their current malicious form.
With even a touch of investigative reporting, the democrats would have to adopt some sort of meaningful, less destructive agenda.
As it is - democrats are all for grasp of total power and cannot be counted on for anything other than gross lies, absurd allegations, and dedication to socialism.
As a nation, we are on life support

This x 1000.
They are a fake party with support inflated via ballot stuffing and East Coast elite journalists covering for them. They are propped up financially via fraud.
Nothing about them is real.

If this is true, it would be the easiest way to put it to bed and reinforce the controversy is a stupid hill to die on.
Instead, the only news has been the Dem candidate said she didn’t know about it so we won’t speculate about hypotheticals…but will gladly share our thoughts about why the republican hypothetical is so hypocritical.

Is it illegal if that’s what really happened, the other Dan is allowed to be on ballot whether he was recruited or not it’s up to Alaska voters to make right choice on who to vote for
