Well, I don't believe in evil.

I fail to see how these services (which I do think are necessary) require a monopoly, that's all.

They are privately owned, but they surely aren't getting their money from willing customers. They require the taxation force of government in order to operate.

I'm an 87. Sounds about right really. Though a few of those questions I kind of wanted to say something between yes and no. IE, yes to a portion of the question, not to the breadth of the question

46 there are some ideas in here that are just so beyond a good idea
Like who would judge made or private law be better than Legislation?

Nailed it.
Exactly, I scored an 83.

If you believe that the state is immoral, are you saying that you would rather support an immoral system instead of trying something different?
It's naive to think that a private police force or private court system would be any less corrupt. Power over others corrupts people whether they work for the government or in a private setting.
Does the citizenry get to vote in the judges of these private courts or do they just pick Jim's Court house instead of Bob's? And how would the courts compete amongst each other? How would they enforce their judgements? By contracting with Boudreaux's local police force? "File your suit at Bob's and we'll let you fleece those bastards, and when they balk, Boudreaux's will kick their door in and beat the crap out of them." When that goes on in the current system there is generally some accountability via Internal Affairs departments or otherwise. But if law is privatized, who is to say what is to be held as a violation?

This may answer some of your questions regarding polycentric law: Machinery of Freedom

You don't get it. When you go govt it is a dictatorship... think your last trip to the DMV. We are the govt. There is no alternative.
Private police/courts = competition, free market, efficiency. We're not gonna just replace the ONE govt police with the ONE private police.

Yeah, some of the questions were pretty vague or just pretty ridiculous overall

Poorly written quiz. Too many questions allowed for misinterpretation or weren't specific enough. And it doesn't differentiate between levels of government. (Zoning, for instance, should be regulated at the local level, IMHO)
This is an anarchist quiz, not a libertarian quiz.

I think it was obvious in my post that I don't think that. My questions had to do with how multiple private police forces or private courts would compete with each other. How would they enforce anything?

You don't get it.
I don't think you get my previous post.I get it, just don't know how it would work.
Didn't they have something like private police and fire companies in the 1800's. Weren't they corrupt as hell?

Very much like the private armies roaming the globe right now.
