This doesn’t change the reprehensible nature of what happened, but the officer was not Capital Police. She was DC Metro according to the article you linked.

There is video of this beating. The house (Pelosi) will not release video (14,000 hrs). This needs to change and I pray the republicans win back the house and all this video released.

None of this was reported at the time all the news stations were jumping on the 1/6 demonstrations. In fact, they were explicitly careful in completely avoiding this story altogether.

I remember the stories of the brutality at the tunnel being told by witnesses, but the videos were scrubbed from all platforms with a quickness. Very, very coordinated effort to complete erase this event. People at the highest levels should have justice done upon them for this. Pelosi and her gestapo...
