I have been impressed by Candice Owens in the times I have seen her. She is clearly very intelligent. She has an ability to get to the root of an issue and describe that issue clearly. Definitely impressed.

I have listened to her quite a number of times - I do not recall having any significant disagreement with the rationale or truth of any issue she discussed.

Now, unless she is pushing bullshite - or saying one thing to one audience and a different thing to another audience, I am really no concerned with any legal financial activity she is conducting in her free time. If she is showcasing some product she uses to do her work, then that's fine with me too. I don't need to know - don't even want to know about her financial arrangements.

Now - if she is pushing a political issue for the sole reason of making money from a suspicious source, I might tend to tune her out, but I would NOT take the other side of the "issue" she was advocating based on that fact alone. Issues stand on their own merits, and I always measure anyone by that standard.

I do not like Trump at all - I don't like his playboy past - I don't like his narcissistic personal traits - I don't even like his ego - but I recognize those two latter characteristics are usually an essential part of the successful leader.

I like the issues he puts his energy behind.

so far, it is the same with Owens at a lower significance factor.

I like what she says and the clarity with which she says it.

And yes, I consider it a great positive that she is black - we need more blacks to listen to her life story and emulate her, rather than following Maxine Waters, et al.
