Mexico has an army that the Texas National Guard could whip easily on its own
And any of the larger states on the northern border has a national guard that could handle a Canadian military
This is not a real scenario
Now, throw in Russian and Chinese air support in missile strikes from Russian and Chinese submarines?
No, Canada in Mexico still couldn’t even come close to occupying territory in the US, even with Chinese and Russian air support.
You would need 1 million Russian in Chinese troops on the ground in both Canada and Mexico for your scenario to be something that could even be feasible

Why do so many people downvote me when I say US and Canada should bury the hatchet?

Lotta blank space left on our calendar... Though I think Cuba is about to be penciled in for April.

The basic scenario being outlined is that the Mexican army would invade Texas and take oil fields
I think the troops at Fort Bliss and Fort Hood would have a little something to say about that.

Just for clarification…..the animal seals would slaughter the Mexican navy.

The only way the US can lose a war against anyone is if we handle them with kid gloves. We could have easily wiped Vietnam or the Middle East off the map if we really wanted to.
Even in the most extreme example, USA vs. the world, I’m not so sure we would lose.

Seattle here may be very left as an area but I know baws here that have an arsenal if needed.
I've lived in all those flashpoints on both sides and they wouldn't have a chance. The U.S. the hardest country in the world to conquer in a conventional war and if anyone has nuclear primacy it's America.

I think just our Coast Guard would overwhelm the Navies and Airforce of both of those countries.
And what made it ashore could even be taken out by guardsmen & civilian baws

We don’t have a problem with nor really give a damn about Canada. They’re the ones that want to act smug and talk shite when they are our subsidiary at best.

Agreed, Russia, China, and the US are all impossible to conquer in conventional warfare with today's military sizes.
Even with WW2 sizes, the US was the only impossible one, the others came within a distance, but would have had forever guerilla wars.

The Mexican Navy would be taken out by one Arleigh Burke. The Canadian Navy would be sunk by the USAF if no carriers are around.
The Texas National Guard would whip the Mexican Army.
The National Guards of multiple states would roll the Canadians back.
Then all hell breaks loose on both countries much to their detriment.
But hell, millions of armed Americans would also be wanting in on it.
The Kentucky Guard has a history of whipping arse in Canada. The Tennessee Guard would remember the Alamo.

Isn’t that a toll bridge? Would cost a fortune to invade across that bridge.
The mere suggestion that Canada would invade through Detroit which is separated from Canada by water and only connected by a bridge and a tunnel is so dumb that it makes discussing it with the person who proposed it meaningless.
If they sent their entire army across those two points of transit we’d wait for them to cross and blow them up so they couldn’t support them so they’d have to surrender or we’d destroy them before they could cross and annihilate the units staged on the Canadian side using air, drone and missile strikes.

Mexico can’t even keep the cartels at bay, and you think they can get control of San Diego?
