They didn't have to "hunt her down", she went straight to the border agents and told them her visa was expired. They said "ok ma'am, follow me."

She was in a spinoff movie where the only original character from the main 3 movies was the Dad(Eugene Levy). Referring to her as "American Pie" actress is pretty misleading.
I've never heard of a single thing listed on her IMDB page so I'm sure that's just an attempt at giving her relevance. She's a bit of a nobody, it seems. Probably why she's in LA trying to sell water.

If you work visa gets revoked and you stay in the US then you are over staying. Once a work visa is revoked she should have left the country or tried to fix the situation then. Staying for 4 more months illegally then crying wolf when you get detained is just dumb. Follow the rules and everything is fine. Break the rules and bad stuff happens.

You assume that she was aware it was revoked.
Do you routinely check to see if your passport or drivers license was revoked? And no…..I’m not talking about expired.
