What a sad, strange pathetic scumbag you are. Thinking it is ok to potentially ruin a man's personal image for line in order to score a political win.

I hope you get mono

If you believe that this info was unknown and "sat on" by the dems until the last minute then you also have to believe that Kavanaugh, who attended an all boys school, was somehow able to obtain written character references from 65 women who knew him in high school in a mere 24 hours.

Another explanation for this could be that the GOP knew the Dems would try to #metoo him and proactively acquired these references in advance.

Here's how bad her decision was: she's been trashed by Republicans and Democrats alike over it.

Senator Feinstein is so worried about her she sat on it because she was so sure conservatives would attack the victim or at least that what the DNC think tank that conjured this up thought. Hope they keep pissing off enough people that their mid term glory is wrecked like a her turn moment .

You think Kavanaugh called 65 of his female friends from high school in the middle of a fricking supreme court confirmation week and was able to convince them all to give a character reference? Can you even think of names of 65 friends from high school, let alone female fiends, when you are 53 years old and 35 years removed from high school? Come on man, listen to yourself.

Listen slick I never said HE called learn to read. There is a fire going on and there are literally hundreds of capitol hill friends, political operatives and worker drones for every Rep and Senator on Capital Hill. All wanting to fight back and help Kav. Thats not even taking into account his large circle family, friends and co workers from around the country. So you want to say only one person is helping Kav and thats himself?

Listen to how dumb YOU sound.

I am sure when he was picked for SCOUTS nomination they got all their ducks in a row. The Dems have been trying character assassination for the last decade and ramped it up a crazy amount in 2016. You had to be an idiot to not see this coming.

I went to an all boy school. So did most of my friends. So did most people in New Orleans. Most of us, without the help of an army of federal bureaucratic drones, would have no problem getting character witnesses from girls we knew in elementary school and high school.

Earlier articles show the school was happy that a second alum had been nominated to the SC. It’s not difficult to assume that many classmates were already “involved” as far as being easily reachable for support.

Here is their counter argument: Republicans have rushed this whole thing from the beginning. If they have followed normal procedure, as Democrats had originally asked, this would have come out in due course with plenty of time to review. The blame is Republicans who cared more about scoring an ideological victory, than properly vetting a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court.

Now, I don't buy that, but it is a rhetorically strong response.

I graduated in a class of 105 and I know with certainty that if I were plastered all over the news for weeks on end I could get references of at least 80 of them in 12 hours maybe less. I'm 40. I doubt that I would forget that many people in 13 years.

Except every Supreme Court Justice has had about 4 days of hearings and then a confirmation.

The exception is Thomas. Who was dragged through the mud by a lying bitch for weeks. His hearing was divided into four parts, starting on September 10th and finishing on October 13th.

ORLY?
quote:

Alumnae of Christine Blasey Ford’s high school are circulating a letter to show their support for her, after Ford came forward with sexual misconduct accusations against President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh. “We believe Dr. Blasey Ford and are grateful that she came forward to tell her story,” a draft letter from alumnae of Holton-Arms, a private girls school in Bethesda, Md., reads, as first reported by HuffPost. “It demands a thorough and independent investigation before the Senate can reasonably vote on Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to a lifetime seat on the nation’s highest court.” The letter, which says it’s from more than 200 alumnae from classes 1967 through 2018, added that Ford’s allegations about Kavanaugh are “all too consistent with stories we heard and lived while attending Holton.”

Well, you got me. I definitely do believe those things because those definitely are the facts as they happened. Aren't facts great?

To me, it is time for Rep to play hardball back. Let her speak behind closed doors so as not to give the Dems and spotlight on this hack, then take a vote to move it forward or not. Kav does not need to speak, he already gave a statement and you know the Dems will just try to ask questions to harm his character.

Grassley keeps trying to play by the old set of rules for the congress and that committee but the Dems have moved it way out of bounds so gloves off Grassley damnit.

Would love to see how many of those signatures actually attended the school with Ford. They might as well have said "we found 200 liberals who attended the school over the past 50 years who said they would sign this letter."
