Higher taxes coming to a middle class near you.
Enjoy the pain California

With all the loopholes today if he paid any it would be a minimal %. About 3.5%
How in world would you know this?
Who pay's his payroll tax? Last I checked no "loopholes" for that.

Don't see how this tax would be constitutional in any way. It's almost the same lines when Dutch Moral tried to tax people in Jefferson parish for working in Orleans parish.

It would not pass Supreme Court muster on due process grounds

Most people forget that he screwed his 2 college roommates with whom he had been working on the initial FaceBook model.
Who are you talking about? Chris Hughes is worth around $500M and Dustin Moskovitz is worth like $10B. I’m fairly certain they got more than $300K.

If voters approve the measure, anyone who was a California resident on Jan. 1, 2026, would owe the tax, according to the proposal’s language.
It seems this is shaky legal ground

All those Zuckerbucks and employees who helped to create the current state of America, now headed to Florida to do their damage there. Nothing to cheer about.
Remember, the People's Republic of California was Red not long ago. These people don't learn from their bad habits. They're elite and wealthy enough to just move to a new location when the consequences of their actions catch up to them. Texas isn't safe either.

Democrats are like locusts, destroying one productive place then swarming to the next.
And unfortunately the states they move to don't have govenors that public welcome them, with a kind reminder of what they left and why, so don't destroy your new host and assimilate.
Governors of all Red states should have clear welcome PSAs just like that running 24/7, on billboards, etc.
If they can't, tell them to keep on rolling.

I wonder how many working class California residents need to be taxed more to cover Zuckerberg leaving California with his $11-12B

I believe Larry Ellison Oracle fame just bailed out of California.

Poor guy, I hope nothing but the best for him as he pimps everyone's data and analytics.
Billionaires Rule, he is still a nerd.

Poor Florida. But at least he didn't move to Texas.

So he takes advantage of the legal tax loopholes on the books. Got it. If you have a problem with that, speak to your representatives.

The figures were given in the movie & in the post movie credits, their RL photos were shown & the settlements were listed under their pics/ FWIW

How would California collect anything retroactively? He is gone and since he is no longer a citizen they have no grounds.

Sure hope all these lefties that move to Florida doesn’t turn it blue…. Dems are like locusts… they find new places and devour it.
