First of all, why the hell wouldn't she? She has the unique position of being the only federal officer below the President that can't be fired by anyone. I find this to be a curious sentiment. Is there a time window in which we cant talk badly about the dead? When we routinely, and justly, bash other dead democrats like FDR, LBJ, etc, no one is jumping in and saying "oh let's not speak poorly of those who have passed".
