1. The Earth is very hostile and constantly tries to kill you. You think otherwise because our ancestors endured the nightmare so that you could be born into a world of technology that gives you many comforts and conveniences.
2. 99.9% of all species born from Earth are extinct. Life has constantly struggled to survive.
