BS. They know exactly who their core audience is. If they didn’t they wouldn’t be rolling out all of the flag waving, hometown, God bless America ads.

Bud Light may have been one of the worst brands possible to try and pull something like the trans-commercial, can, spokesperson thing. It is just completely off brand and it is a product with a dozen easy replacements for its customers to switch to with zero effort. Just a colossal frick up.
Also I think the reaction is not just based on what Bud Light did here but is the culmination of a lot pent up frustration regarding identity politics, demonizing traditional values, pushing fringe agendas, and it's all coming out big time with a complete softball for people to take a stand on because it is just so easy to pick up a Miller Lite, Coors Light, Yuengling, Sam Adams, Modelo, etc, etc.

Also to you baws - Ford is woke AF and hates the type of person that drives an F-250 or F-150 as well. There are superior options....buy one of them instead.
I've always been a Ford guy. Have had really good service from them for @ 35 years. Show me proof of what you're saying and I'll probably try a Ram this time.

Nearly ever Fortune 500 type company is going to have elements of so called "wokeism" these days. You'll drive yourself crazy trying to boycott everything "woke."

I can’t believe InBev hasn’t stepped in.. I’ve read and seen interviews with the AB head from his hiring and was impressed. Seemed like a sharp guy desiring to bridge a lot of brands across the sector. Man was I wrong and I just can’t see how he makes it out of this. The silence has turned into a disaster of indecision

I think this is a great point. More good will come if we can focus on Bud Light. As the biggest seller of all beers if its dethroned we have a boycott victory (can I still say boy-cott or is it trannycott now). Knock off the big beer seller and its going to hurt not only dollars but prestige and future sales.
Imagine any company and you wipe out their best seller, that hurts financials in so many ways. All the billions they likely spent on it over decades just poof, gone. Its easier to spend most ad bucks on one product vs having to try and push their other beers which none are as popular. Imagine how much money/time they’d waste trying to do that.
I try and do several boycotts but not all. Heck, Goodyear is still dead to me. But the biggie is Bud Light. That sends a salvo into every marketing room if we continue to focus on it. For example, Molsen Coors has woke shite too but we can’t fight all at once. After BL is killed in a year then can refocus on the next company that is most woke. Start at top and pick them off one at a time.

I sure hope they don't lie and say they are sorry. Some people are so freaking dumb they will actually believe they are sorry for what they did instead of the truth which is they are trying to warp the minds of the next generation and are unhappy that it hurt them financially.
Make no mistake. These companies serve a higher power than theirselves. They knew there would be backlash. They are prepared to sacrifice a little bit of money to usher in the great reset.
So don't celebrate to much. This is how they have operarated for a very long time. They push. Then back off a little and over time the pushback gets less and less.

The reaction here indicates it's more than just a "little bit of money" with this one.
That's good.

People have posted that shite ad nauseam.
Nobody cares.
I know it pisses y'all off to no end that the public has figured out how to hone in on a single target with regard to this bullshite and is now doing irreparable damage to it.
Deal with it.

This boycott is going so much better than the Coke boycott after the “be less white” incident.
Hopefully Yuengling becomes Americas go to beer.

Exactly. Of course we know nearly all corporations of any size feel like they have been forced to at least give lip service to showing how woke they are because of the political climate that has been created. There has been a snowball effect and up to now it has likely been a good financial decision by these companies to just go along with a lot of the bullshite.
That is why this Bud Light thing is important and probably scaring the shite out of progressives. The perfect product struck the perfect chord that has somehow freed people to stand up and say - frick this shite - and, amazingly, they really aren't getting any political or societal backlash for saying it because in fact 90% of people out there have been waiting for a reason (and safety in numbers I guess) to say it for a long time.
People know Miller/Coors whatever have all of the requisite woke/equity/inclusion programs. That's fine. But people have found a rallying cry behind the Bud Light thing and a big part of the reason they are going to keep hammering Budlight/AB InBev is to also impact OTHER companies' decision-making. They want to make Bud Light a cautionary tale that you can only promote freak agendas/mock your core customers so much before you get financially wrecked.

The straw that broke the camel's back. Being that it is easy to switch brands makes it easy to follow through on the boycott.

Well said. And this is major bucks so BL is going to spend massive dollars to any method to break up the BL boycott. Heck, for all we know the poster who keeps posting Coors stuff might be on the take with BL to distract people. If they would hire a social media tranny they would also hire anyone who can break up the boycott.
Stopped by my bar last night and they finally took out their last BL tap. Manager tells me Yuengling has been the biggest gainer with Miller Lite next.
I’d love to see Yuenglings Apr sales numbers
