You just ran to the thread to post that you don't care.

idiot

You don't see me posting in Outdoor board threads.

That would be the actual definition of "not caring".

In the US apparently AB does not own Modelo. Outside of the US it does.

Constellation Brands owns Modelo and Corona in the US as well as the breweries in Mexico

AB owns them outside the US along with breweries elsewhere.

I asked a high up friend at Constellation and he said it’s a DOJ issue.

i'm surprised it's bigger than coors light and miller lite though.

I find it very hard to believe.

But I guess it shows how many illegals are in the country now.

Kind of surprising to me that Modelo is more popular that your Coors light, miller Lite markets.

Thinking the same. Coors Light might not exactly be a high end beverage, but it is far superior to both Bud Light and Modelo.

I can only figure it has been their lack of effective marketing over the years, where Modelo has been on fire recently and Bud Light (until the very recent "OOPS") has historically been the most well marketed beer in North America.

Stupid decisions have consequences. Anheuser Busch is reaping what it has sown.

Inbev owns Modelo International, but not domestically. Constellation Brands owns Modelo in the US

Bury them, of course we can’t affect every company and product. The companies that rely heavily on conservatives need to be taught a lesson.

I don’t see how the brand survives. This is hilarious.

I went inside a Target last week and it felt like K-Mart before they went bankrupt.

Beer is opening up Americans eyes more than anything to demographics. Although the #1 beer in Mexico is actually Corona (cheaper than Modelo).

These idiots don't realize that AB owns both companies so they are still supporting pride month.

The primary consumers of Bud Light and Miller Lite, at least from what I see in Texas, were Hispanics. There's a reason we call them "Bood Lite" and "Mee-yer Lite" in Texas. Modelo has been going hard with marketing to that demographic the last couple years. It's not hard to figure out.

Does AB own modelo?

In 2012, Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the Belgian-based drinks conglomerate, acquired Grupo Modelo for $20.1 billion. The following year, AB InBev sold Grupo Modelo's U.S. business to Constellation Brands, effectively retaining rights to Corona and Modelo everywhere except in the U.S.
