Christian communism is a form of religious communism centered on Christianity. It is a theological and political theory based upon the view that the teachings of Jesus Christ urge Christians to support communism as the ideal social system. Christian communists trace the origins of their practice to teachings in the New Testament, such as this one from Acts of the Apostles at chapter 2 and verses 42, 44 and 45:
42. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and in fellowship [...] 44. And all that believed were together, and had all things in common; 45. And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. (King James Version)
does the poster claim Communists from China support Louisiana Republican candidates?

I’m down with NPP.
No Party Party.
No Party Party.

I left the Party years ago due to Romney and McCain. Been Independent for years.

I've never been a registered Republican. I first registered as a Democrat, then changed to independent when I realized that both sides are FOS and only care about enriching themselves.
Unfortunately that hurts me in primary votes in my state, but it is what it is.

Don’t let Scalise off the hook. He did not support the president who is of his own party in that 2am fly-by-night certification of the election.

I switched to independent because of RINO’s not the capital riot

If we had a closed primary in 2015 and 2019, JBE would’ve never come close to sniffing the Governor’s mansion.
Not to derail the thread, but how? In 2015 you had Vitter take on JBE after a bruising general election. Then JBE beat a wounded Vitter. I can't see how that would have changed under a closed primary system.
Same for 2019.

I left too, not because of the capital protest, because the Republicans in Congress did not protest.

Getting to the point that elections are 100% open fraud and staying registered to vote is nothing but putting yourself on jury duty for at least an entire week every 2 years.

Louisiana is trending blue much like Texas, AZ, Georgia.
GOP as a national party is headed toward the dustbin of history

I actually heard they switched because of global warming and the lack of push for electric vehicles by GOP

Vitter was in a tough spot. He had 2 "republicans" gnawing at his heels to subtly put it and he needed to get them out of the race and thus you saw the scorched earth tactics from Vitter and the 2 republicans that pissed everyone off on all sides.
If we had a republican primary and it was decided in late spring to early summer with the finality and resolution of an official nomination for Vitter, that would provide more time for cooler heads to prevail and more time for a closer examination of JBE's background, his leftist voting record and what a JBE Governorship would really mean for Louisiana.
The 2015 and 2019 cycles is where the GOP electorate went off the rails with infighting and inability to settle and unite around a nominee. We have way too many people here in Louisiana that has no ability to accept defeat and look at the bigger picture so we have to provide guardrails in the form of a closed primary to keep them in line.
The current set up with only a month between the first round and the runoff is way too chaotic, too heated, solely about who has the best soundbites and most bombastic and not enough time to allow for the base consolidation that Vitter and Rispone needed.

Every email from the RNC is ignored… Every letter sent asking for a donation of thrown in the trash… They can go frick themselves after what they did to Donald Trump
Posted on 4/6/21 at 5:19 pm to ksayetiger
Who cares? I’m a registered Dem but I’ve voted Republican since 2008
Posted on 4/6/21 at 5:32 pm to ksayetiger
They are going to milk the plan calling all Trump supporters domestic terrorists via Jan 6th until they can no longer milk it, which is endless.

Again...just so it’s seen...Independent is not the way to go in Louisiana. You have the right to choose “No Party”. Exercise that right. To hell with all of their bought and paid for “parties”.
