Lol Putin put in a call to that judge for sure.
So now her only hope is Russia accepting a prisoner swap. I don’t see them doing that. They don’t need the Lord of War back that badly. Putin will try to stick it to Biden.
The correct path for this would have been for the US to not have an official stance and keep it on the DL. Wait for trial to play out then present swap offer to Russia. Instead, Biden and Blinken showed all their cards early on.

She should serve the time in accordance to Russian laws and rules. It's pretty simple like that. She was in their country, broke their laws, and was judged by their courts. We need to mind our own business and not give her special treatment.

Why should we even offer this? She broke their laws, had her day in court...she should not get special treatment. I would hardly call her a political prisoner. We have J6 folks who qualify for that moniker held here more than she qualifies.
