Sure they should, and there are mechanisms in place for them to report anything they see as inappropriate!
What they are doing instead is obstruction, not reporting anything to anyone but rather slow walking or sabotaging the directive due to their disagreement with the objective!

Does anyone think these people actually believe what they are saying? If they say it enough and no one pushes back, they actually start to believe this garbage and whatever they say or do at that point, in their minds, it is justified.
