My understanding is they anchor/delete threads on the main board about Q because they want it all kept in the one thread.
Good luck going into the Q thread with critical thought. You’ll get banned like BoarEd

Let’s say you put a floor on it. 500,000 users or less, you get 230 protections. 500,000 or more, no protections for you.
You’re still going to stymie almost all flow of information on the larger networks. Do people then leave those and a bunch of networks under the cap develop? Then we’re stratified in our own little silos.
The 230 protections are there for Gab and other platforms to develop and utilize. DOJ should watch out for anticompetitive actions from the established players against those developing networks, but the market solution is the answer here to keep the internet robust and ideas flowing.
The leader of the free world could switch to Gab and they’d get 10 million new users overnight. Trump needs to lead the market solution on this.

Has the executive order been published yet? Is it going to have actionable items or just be a sternly worded letter?
I don't think its been published yet. There's a chance he might be bluffing to try to scare Twitter to walk back what they are doing.
But then again, he might not be bluffing. Can he temporarily remove the "safe harbor" protections by executive order if he believes they are acting as publishers and attempting to interfere with the upcoming election?

Huh? Are you pretending to be a Trump supporter now that turned because Trump is oh so bad? I ask because what you said above holds 0 merits. If Trump slaps Twitter that's exactly why his supporters voted for him because they all hate Twitter
BS, government sticking their hands in private business because we "hate" them is slimy and not what the 16 election was about. The opposite, we wanted government out of everything. Hated the Obama executive orders. It was about NOT doing shite like this but people will cheer it on anyways because abandoning your principles is extremely easy apparently

Then go vote for Biden

Many Americans, of all political leanings, do not want censorship. Trump is merely shining a bright light on the bias of Twitter.
Yes, government sticking its fingers into private businesses with regulations will fight censorship. I’m trying to make that work in my head gimme a min

Ummm...BoarEd didn't get banned from that thread because of "critical thought". He got banned because if anyone questioned his posts, he became abusive and belligerent. He had the same problem on the main board.

Holy shite, you don't understand a thing about this.
CNN doesn't have protections from libel suits. Is the government sticking its hands in CNN? Do they control what CNN says? That's all people want to see with social media that's curating content. No meddling, just removing the special protection they asked for.
