It's a new age. Infomation is no longer found just on CBS nightly broadcast. At some point, the govt is going to have identify how this applies to America. Other countries are using social media to completely suppress thought. In america, the companies them selves are choosing which content to curate.
This. I would look at social media as the digital "town square". Govt can't limit free speech in the real "town square"(unless it's inciting violence) but these social media sites are definitely deciding which views/opinions are "acceptable".

He bans me for my content and restricts my ability to post outright.

or in the case of Reddit - completely quarantine your sub and remove moderators to completely suppress your sub. Reddits CEO has also been caught curating users posts. I hope they are slammed by this as well.

Without 230 protections, chicken has to remove your post about Obama being a terrorist or Michelle having a cock lest he risk being found liable for its libelous content
Multiply that over the entire internet and what do you have? A barren wasteland
Or they can just not censor based on political views and keep their platform status.
Which one do you think they'll choose?

So he’s dishes out hints and you....

He and the mods do delete posts and threads and do ban users, but they do it based on terms of use agreed to by all of us.
That's still different than editorializing in response to posts, which is what Twitter has done.

The only person being libeled and defamed on Twitter is Joe Scarborough, by the President.

Is there section of the terms where you can’t criticize Q? Because the Q mod actively deletes and anchors critical threads.

And twitter, FB, youtube etc do not have restrictions for conservative/right wing views in their TOS.
Yet the ban or demonetize people daily for violating their version of leftthink.

An awful lot of people seem to think being a platform means you can't have any rules on a forum. Other than willful ignorance I'm not sure why they think that.

I disagree Gnome.
Many Americans, of all political leanings, do not want censorship. Trump is merely shining a bright light on the bias of Twitter.
Now, I don’t think he will be successful with an order, but that’s not the goal.
Trump is not only exposing the bias, he is also exposing how the media runs with conspiracy theories and lies.
All he needs his to get the middle of the road voter to see it and vote against bias.

Where is the terms of use? I’ve been looking for that. Can you link it?
Never mind, found it.
I see mentions of personal attacks and threatening violence.... and “flaming.”

Are you on twitter?
If so I'll happily log in and hurl some juicy insults at you.

Until that happens, Gab will never ever be a serious competitor. It's dumb to think they can do it another way. Twitter is an absolute monster right now.
I agree. I'm only arguing that it can happen not that it will happen. Tech companies being to big to fail is only a thing if they convenience us that it's so. That's how they keep their monopoly by making people feel they have no alternative.

It’s like switching from an iPhone to an Andriod
Well I've always been with Andriod so I don't have to switch. iPhone's suck because they aren't compatible with anything that isn't also Apple. I don't even think you can by a non-Apple charge cord to work with an iPhone.

Show me where in the Twitter TOS it mentions conservatives or political views.
It doesn’t. It’s a bunch of “harmful content” and “community standards” buzzwords that they can define and apply as they see fit

I doubt TD will be effected by this.
It absolutely would be affected - this and every other forum with open posting would need clear cut rules and stricter moderation to prevent being held liable for anything a user could post.
I don't think posts calling Obama a terrorist or talking about Michelle's cock would cross the line, but there is a grey area for sure a little further down the line. Someone could post something legitimately illegal (CP always is used as the obvious example here) that only stays up for ten minutes, but the instant it was posted, the admins could be held liable.
A bad actor could take an entire site down by posting illegal images on purpose.

I've actually had posts of my editorialized before. Specially thread title that were edited and changed from how I originally had them.

My understanding is they anchor/delete threads on the main board about Q because they want it all kept in the one thread.
Kind of like if you went to the soccer board and started threads about TV shows, it would get whacked too.
