Jesus Christ.
Why would you let Ken Starr within 20 miles of DC?

A constitutional scholar and the guy who was special counsel leading to the only other impeachment in our lifetimes? Outstanding.

What I see is a conflicted Supreme Court Justice presiding over this thing and a deep state swamper in Alan Derschowitz as Trump's council.
What could possibly go wrong?
You guys realize that Derschowitz was Epstein's attorney? And not long after Epstein was jailed this last time Derschowitz was planning on conducting a mock trial in defense of pedophiles?

I believe this is pretty much true but as a lawyer he is truly bad arse. The democrats think they are crafty but I guarantee they won't slip shite past him.

STATEMENT REGARDING PROFESSOR DERSHOWITZ’S ROLE IN THE SENATE TRIAL - Professor Dershowitz will present oral arguments at the Senate trial to address the constitutional arguments against impeachment and removal. While Professor Dershowitz is non partisan when it comes to the constitution—he opposed the impeachment of President Bill Clinton and voted for Hillary Clinton— he believes the issues at stake go to the heart of our enduring Constitution. He is participating in this impeachment trial to defend the integrity of the Constitution and to prevent the creation of a dangerous constitutional precedent.

He’s a dem but he’s sane. A true rarity.

He also said that although he opposed Clinton’s impeachment and voted for Hillary Clinton against Trump in 2016, “he is participating in this impeachment trial to defend the integrity of a dangerous constitutional precedent.”
This. All of this.

My first thought as well. Dershowitz is a fricking beast but the baggage of Epstein taint he brings could well be enough of a distraction to lessen the impact of his work.
Also, in every interview or discussion I've heard thus far where Starr was involved, at times he seemed to almost be cheering for Nancy. I haven't found him to be nearly as critical as Dersh (maybe he's a distraction hire?)
