This is why RDS was never going to be Trump's VP in 2024. Win or lose, it eliminates him for anything in the future.
This is what idiots say especially now that Ron is going on Fox news

Well, this should be a long-term wakeup call for the GOP, especially MAGA types. The DEMs have a fighter's chance rolling out Kamala and Tim Walz 90 days before the election.
There is a sizably larger portion of DEMs nationally than Republicans in the US. Their migration into red states has just begun, and as it continues, even mechanisms like the Electoral College won't stop them.

Ron is a good guy and governor but there are many ppl who will pass him up. It was so dumb for him to run this year.

Yea when I say “I don’t believe it” I mean I’m just really surprised.

Idk if I entirely agree with this
His pick makes the Midwest a little easier. Kamala can basically dump everything into PA. Her pathway is let grandpa “aw geez guys” it up in the Midwest and she focuses on PA with help from Shapiro who will be rewarded at a later date.
She gets to 270 with WI, MI, PA

This makes absolutely no sense, this guy is as un-American as the squad.

Theres your answer. Jews will always have self interest in voting Dem. A big, powerful government gives them more leverage to power as their Ivy League, private school kids are the ones filling the bureaucracy in DC
We needed some antisemitism on the board before 830 CST. Thanks for ensuring it happened.

I’ve seen you quite skippy in several threads at the idea of a Kamala presidency. Genuine question, which policies of hers are you a fan of?

Looks like Politico's scoop on it not being Shapiro was right

I am shocked by this move. I guess she is going to position herself as the tough on Israel candidate. Good luck with that when AIPAC dumps money against you.

if public radio on the right says VP pick (Vance) doesn't determine who will be president, then it should be the same on the left.
Just sayin'.

Harris wants the person who will be more aligned with her and be more complimentary.
Shapiro is younger and is more popular, more of a rising star.
Walz is older, less ambitious at this stage, and much less likely to steal any spotlight away.
I thought Shapiro was the better option for the ticket, but I can see it.

John King was just saying this on CNN.
"There is no evidence that a VP termines who will be President. The best it can do is "help""

Do you really think there are people in Michigan and Wisconsin who were on the fence but are now all in with Kamala because this fat slob from Minnesota is now on the ticket?

yeah, I don't think this makes a difference. Maybe just motives liberal base a bit more.
It all comes down to getting people to remember what the economy was like under Trump. and reminding them that this is Kamala's economy.
Trump can also hit both of them on their open border and sanctuary city policy.
Economy and The Border are the top 2 issues.

That’s a rough looking 60.
I’m 58 and he looks 20 years older than me.
