Sessions fricked that last answer up. He just laid the basis for the media to report credibly that he lied under oath. He was fine until then. Now it's a complete fricking disaster.

Sessions shouldn't have answered any questions. Indeed, he shouldn't have even held the press conference. He gains absolutely NOTHING from this.

Just guessing here, but neither Trump nor Spicer are attorneys and I doubt they have fully immersed themselves in DOJ recusal policies.
