Trumpkin: "Give 'em hell Jeff! Don't give an inch to these liberal bastards."

Jeff Sessions: "I recuse myself"

Trumpkin: "Nailed it!"

He actually did not answer the question was asked.

This is laughable.

Look. I'm as pro-Trump AND pro-Sessions as any person on the face of this earth. But he said that he should have "slowed down" and thought more about the question.

quote:

Sessions: "In retrospect, I should've slowed down and said but I did meet one Russian official a couple of times."

He should have said the question was about meeting with Russian officials ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN. Which he did not and his answer was truthful. That is not that hard. Instead he basically said his answer was incorrect and had he thought about it more he would have answered differently.

The media will eat that shite alive and Dems are going to call perjury. Watch and see if I'm not right.

Thing is they will say the administration is not being transparent because of this somehow.

Wait you told Trump last night, but he said something different

Sessions shouldn't have answered any questions. Indeed, he shouldn't have even held the press conference. He gains absolutely NOTHING from this.

Based on the statements he was giving, he had planned to have a meeting concerning whether or not to recuse himself since Monday. It seems like this presser was already planned.

A lot of people have heard of Recusal, I would assume there's a very limited group of people in the world that know every detail of the things that trigger a recusal for the DoJ of America

I'd like to think anything involving "an AG recusal because of an investigation of the AG" would be known by more than just "a few people."

Besides, anything going forward cannot be ran through the DoJ. His subordinates cannot carry on afterwards. This has to go to independent investigation/special counsel.

He actually did and go read the thread about it because the board exploded when it happened.

The left won't be happy as long as a crusty, old white guy is in that position.

Judge Napolitano on Fox News just said Sessions may be guilty of the misdemeanor of misleading congress, not perjury.

This is what they got Roger Clemons on. Watch this very closely.

This shite is ridiculous. You answer the question you are asked. That's what Sessions did. Franken asked a specific question. He got a specific answer.

It's like they were expecting him to have a breakdown like Chunk and go on about blaming shite on the dog and starting a mass puking.

So should we had a Special Prosecutor when Obama multiple times made statements on pending investigations without all the facts?

It is the same thing, but you can't bring yourself to be nothing but a shrill on this.

Let it play out, it will shake out in the end how it is supposed to.

And that's all the Dems need to launch this witch hunt. "The AG committed a crime. He should be impeached."

Yeah, he did. He denied personal contact as a campaign surrogate with the Russians and basically said I can't comment on something based on a flimsy hypothetical.

Which would be unfortunate. His conviction would just prove that our Congress is full of idiots.

Where he messed up was saying he met the guy one time in his office. The last thing he said was he met a Russian ambassador a couple times.

The fact that Al Franken is in a position to be screen candidates is the most scary thing of all.

They just need to replay that video over and over. Sessions may be in trouble. The tone was really bleak in that interview.
