The judge said he would take the weekend to decide. Releasing it today was to send a message.
No, he said he’d decide quickly but had until the 27th by statute. There is no message and he never promised to take it through the weekend.

Where KL's case came up short is in the "if it casts the outcome in doubt" part. There is no way to look at all of the numbers in play and conclude that the errors made, purposefully or inadvertently, could possibly have changed election results.
Did you realize your post is exactly the point many Americans have been extremely concerned about? When an election outcome can't be reliably verified or trusted because of inexplicable happenings there will always be some doubt of the validity of the election.

We can certainly agree to disagree, but I will say it’s a sad indictment of our educational system if using the word “falsely” makes a lot of people assume it means lying. I assume people are smarter than that, but I am an optimist. Merry Christmas!
Well, there’s trying to insult other people’s intelligence and then there’s (perhaps unwittingly) insulting your own. Be that as it may, Merry Christmas to you too!

The reason is, it didn't happen. But there's just enough truth in her rantings to suck a lot of the Right in - in this case there's no doubt that election procedures are woefully inadequate, and those in charge are pompous a-holes that don't know their jobs.
And that these same “woefully inadequate election procedures” continue to happen again and again yet still are allowed to stand are evidence of a systematic effort to affect the outcome of elections. At least for anyone who themself aren’t regurgitating MSM talking points.

shouldn’t a mechanical failure, intentional or not, constitute that votes had the potential to be wrong or not counted?
the issue put printers out of service. that meant fewer people could vote at one time. so there were lines. seemed like 30 to 45 minutes was ordinary but sometimes an hour.
the premise was that many people chose not to vote rather than endure a wait.
there were 50 wrong sized ballots. 50. 19" not 20"
I didn't follow closely. those were topics of complaint from the get go. the printers being out was the story at the time.

Of course Lake says she will appeal…she can’t beg for money otherwise.
I think she knew all along she lost and knows these suits stand no chance, but has to appear she like she is fighting the good fight to keep her other political/grifting aspirations alive.

The judge punted. You and I both know it. We all knew he would punt especially if wanted to keep living there.
There was no harm in redoing the election in Maricopa County. It would have restored a lot of faith regardless of who won. Now we have more doubt.
They don’t want transparency.
I don't know what you expected the judge to do. Order a revote because some people had their feelings hurt? Somewhere along the line, you've got to make a compelling argument - and the reality is that Lake's team failed at doing this. They did not prove that there was any sort of chance that the problems encountered conducting the vote cost KL the election. And if I'm wrong about that, someone should be able to connect the dots that need to be connected and show their math. That nobody has done that in this thread or any of the others should tell you something. I would excitedly be doing that myself because I wanted KL to win and I live in AZ, but the facts and figures simply do not tell the story I'd like told.

There are always technical glitches in an election. If your standard is there will never be an issue of any sort, then you will never be happy with an election. They are ran by humans so there naturally be mistakes and errors. As long as it’s not enough to change the result, which there is zero proof anything that happened here came close to making up a 17k deficit, then the election stands. That’s how it works. You don’t redo everything because of issues that don’t change the result.

she better rethink her position. this is going nowhere. reminds me of A Few Good Men, "I strenuously object".

He hamstrung her from the beginning and time he allowed was a joke, but hey…he’s safe now and he can stop worrying about violence against him and they got their show trial.

Don't limit yourself to the evidence he allowed or what witnesses testified to - connect the dots and show the math that indicates KL may have won the election if not for the issues with how the vote was conducted.

Lol. Keep trusting Maricopa. Lol. Especially after all their shenanigans in 2020.

Only In government is this acceptable with no consequences or accountability. Is this seriously our threshold for the “leader” of the free world? “We have frickery in our elections but as long as you can’t prove it impacted the outcome we should all just move on.”

Asking her to prove the errors caused enough problems with votes and voters is not hamstringing her. It’s asking her to prove this matters. This is how it works in any election suit. That’s nothing new.
