We already knew this was gonna happen, the judge didn’t want to make the right decision knowing that her appeal will go to SCOTUS. He wants them to make the decision
She may appeal to SCOTUS sat some point, but there is no universe that SCOTUS agrees to even hear it.

That’s what politics have become. It’s just like football fans when your team loses, saying the refs costs them the game.
Your party wins an election- The system worked like it should
Your opponent wins- Election was stolen. Won’t accept it. Total fraud
If your point is that both sides are equal and interchangeable, polls state otherwise. If you poll most apolitical issues, you'll find a large rift, and the rift will show that people on the Left are vastly more mentally unstable, gullible, and mentally wired for slavery. The leaders for the most part are just good manipulators. Yes, the Right has these people as well, but we're talking about 1 on the Right for every 20 on the Left.

Really? Until very recently the federal government had power to oversee elections in certain states. What if the people of Maricopa are happy to disenfranchise people with brown skin? Still their right?

More winning, when is it going to stop?

What’s the difference between a vote being automatically tabulated and a ballot being adjudicated as a matter of process? Who adjudicates it? What’s the safeguards in the adjudication process?
From what I have read if a ballot goes in door 3 it is scanned downtown where the scanners are better and can pick up things better. If it cannot be scanned, say with the 1200 or so that were printed on 20” paper, then the ballot is redone on a new ballot where it can be read. There are observers from both campaigns there to watch this process. It does not happen in a vacuum.

So if St. Louis County start printing off goofy ballots for North County and the people don’t rebel, it’s all fine? You’re trying to plumb the depths of stupidity to defend what’s becoming a little more indefensible every day.

Of course not. I wasn’t aware that I had state a process has to follow state and federal law. What you describe would, most likely, violate state and federal law.

Lol. “Then the ballot is redone.” Presto.
What happens to the original ballot?
How far away from the monitors are the election observers?
What’s an acceptable rate of ballot adjudication?

You’re going to need to read up on elections before you start holding forth on things you don’t know very basic history about.

State laws says it’s fine to print ballots that are a different size so they’re not read like other ballots?

No, it can’t clearly violate state or federal law or be so egregious that it disenfranchises people. What a you propose is clearly against the law as it intentionally is disenfranchising people in North County. If we’re trying to have a real conversation, I didn’t know I had to state the obvious.
If Maricopa’s process violates state or federal law or is simply so egregious as to be disenfranchising people, then Lake should have provided proof to that effect.

Given the fact Lake didn’t bring any observers forward to say they couldn’t see, and something shady is going on, I’m going to assume they are close enough. If they aren’t, she should have brought evidence to that effect.

I am quite aware that certain states have had to have DOJ clearance to make election changes before. I’m also well aware that pre clearance was tossed out by the Supreme Court a few years back. Please educate me on what I don’t know or can we just assume everything has to follow state and federal law without explicitly stating it. That’s a given.

Would have been an interesting line of questioning by the Lake team. And I'd add a question, "is everything the election worker does through the adjudication process livestreamed in closeup/detail? If not, why not?"
But the Lake team didn't pursue this line of questioning.

I’m just taking your posts at face value. People talk about errors and glitches, and your response is that if the people of that county want it then it’s fine. You’re ok with election integrity being shite; it’s what you’ve been defending.

it suspect its not that they are happy with it but that the thing itself, the entirety of the election system is substantial and there are already people in all the jobs. how would an ordinary person tackle this? go to a meeting with the county supervisor?
volunteer to be a role?

They had a process to cure these errors. Given that Lake made no claim that this violated state or federal law, I’m going to assume it didn’t. There is no perfect system. It’s ran by humans. Mistakes will happen. They have a process to address those.

I know. My question is why didn't Lake's team get into this?
What's lost in this discussion about process/checks is that the Lake team played it to boil down to "tens of thousands of voters disenfranchised by printer/tabulator issues that resulted in unreasonably long lines everywhere" ... the only hope for a revote was based on that argument, and not only did they fail to make that argument, they fricked up. Their math was fricked.
Here's another thing that baffled me. The crux of their argument was loads of unreasonably long lines that kept voters away from the polls or walking out of lines because they got discouraged. Why wasn't their any discussion of what an "unreasonably long line" was? Why wasn't there any credible evidence of said long lines? There were 223 voting centers and they were schools, churches, community centers - places that would have video surveillence. Why didn't we see video of "man in red shirt arriving at voting center and 90 minutes later man in red shirt leaves voting center, at a time the county is reporting the wait time at this voting center was 45 minutes" ... nothing like this was presented/argued. The lone witness that gave testimony about wait times acknowledged that he was guessing, and he got his math wrong to boot.
