This won’t be a popular stance around here but there are easily 30 Million illegals in this country.
If we can get out with only legalizing barely 5% of them that’s a fricking bargain. Especially is many of the avenues for them to come here to begin with are closed.

And if we aggressively pursued those employing them, sheltering them, feeding them and illegally providing them with government assistance, we would have to "round up" very few of them - they would go home of their own accord.

Could be worse, but I don't trust them to actually follow through on building the wall with that. This seems like a slightly better deal than Reagan got, but we all saw how that turned out.

They're just more interested in Donald Trump getting another "win" on his legislative victory belt even if it's shitty rather than making sure we can get the best deal we can get.

Whoa there. Trump's in-laws are residents here through chain migration. He'd have to deport Melania's parents or answer the question as to why they are not deported.
