Because she has no offspring and she wants to be remembered by someone.

Thats exactly what happened under Reagan & exactly what will happen here.

Seriously, if this is all we can get with a Republican President & Congress who have all the leverage in the situation - we might as well give up.

Go ahead & rename the country New Hispaniola or something.

He only cares about two things.

Wars and finding Americans to die in them.

If the Republicans and Trump pass this piece of shite legislation, then they are signing away their re-election bids and giving up congress basically.

Do they honestly think the Trump block of voters are that stupid to fall for this shite?

It won't even guarantee a wall, the uproar will be huge, and it will end up screwing everyone.

I am not even a Trump supporter nor a Republican, but both sides are atrociously horrible, and this shite is just getting stupid.

Isn't this just a starting point for additional negotiation?

When you're starting negotiations with a center left position like Trump's framework and the Grahamnesty cave, it's only going to end up more left wing.

The Goodlatte bill is a good starting point and worth supporting.

So this compromise is on shitty Republicans, not Trump.

They didn't negotiate from a dominant position.

Trump should have been able to capitalize on his sotu speech to politically position being for DACA compromise and let the Dems be the ones on record turning it down.

Uh Trump is just as much to blame here, particularly with allowing for sunset provisions to end chain migration and diversity lottery long after he leaves office that can be canceled any time by a GOPe or democrat Congress and President.

Trump didn't either.

Yep.

I'm not throwing a hissy fit until some deets come out and Trump says he's down with it.

Didn't he reject Graham's first attempt?
