Question peculiar election results: mother democracy has been murdered whilst she slumbers!!!

Repeatedly try to jail your political opponents of false charges and when that doesn’t work, use your allies in blue states to have him deleted from the ballot just like fricking Russia: not a big deal cause he’s not winning those states anyway.

https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/ramaswamy-withdraw-colorado-primary-unless-trump-ballot

Ramaswamy to withdraw from Colorado primary unless Trump is on the ballot

quote:

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy excoriated the Colorado Supreme Court's Tuesday decision to remove former President Donald Trump from the state ballot and called on his fellow Republicans to withdraw from the state's primary unless Trump's name appears on the ballot.

The court on Tuesday determined that Trump engaged in an insurrection by inciting the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Riot and was therefore ineligible to run under the 14th Amendment. Trump's campaign has vowed to appeal to the Supreme Court.

Ramaswamy contended that the decision amounted to a political move to disqualify Trump amid his mounting lead in the polls.

"This is what an *actual* attack on democracy looks like: in an un-American, unconstitutional, and *unprecedented* decision, a cabal of Democrat judges are barring Trump from the ballot in Colorado," Ramaswamy declared.

Having tried every trick in the book to eliminate President Trump from running in this election, the bipartisan Establishment is now deploying a new tactic to bar him from ever holding office again: the 14th Amendment."

"I pledge to *withdraw* from the Colorado GOP primary unless Trump is also allowed to be on the state’s ballot, and I demand that Ron DeSantis, Chris Christie, and Nikki Haley to do the same immediately - or else they are tacitly endorsing this illegal maneuver which will have disastrous consequences for our country," he added.

"Today’s decision is the latest election interference tactic to silence political opponents and swing the election for whatever puppet the Democrats put up this time by depriving Americans of the right to vote for their candidate of choice."

There was a 5 day trial on whether Trump's actions amounted to "engaging in insurrection". Plaintiffs, Trump, and the GOP all put on evidence. The trial court held Plaintiff's proved their case by clear and convincing evidence.

So, all these arguments that Trump hasn't been convicted of anything are moot. The Colorado trial court found he had engaged in insurrection.

The trial Court also held, however, that section 3 of the 14th Amendment does not apply to the office of the President. I think SCOTUS will reinstate that part of the ruling, and this entire argument will be defeated.

FTR, this entire 14th Amendment disqualification argument is being championed more by conservative and libertarian Never Trumpers than Democrats and liberals.

The fact that 4 judges would try and interfere in the 2024 election this way is totally outrageous and these clowns should be rebuked hard and publicly at the very least. They should be removed from the bench.

All that being said though I think it’s safe to say that Trump and any other Republican candidate will not get close to winning Colorado in the election next year. If this had happened in Arizona, Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada, or a few other swing states this would be a way bigger deal.

Can someone help me understand how the people of Colorado where harmed by what took place on Jan. 6, and how they have standing to decide this?

Not hyperbole: The Democrats are on a path that parallels the rise of every Totalitarian Govt. in the History of the Planet.

"Rules" are simply weapons to use against the Right, nothing more.

Cranky American @CrankyAmerican Replying to @DevinNunes

A Soros owned state.

He paid for the NGOs that got mail in voting on the ballot.

He brought in operatives from Oregon who had already corrupted the voter rolls and process using the model of institutionalized mail in ballot fraud they perfected in Portland.

He paid for 6 DAs to destroy the justice system.

He paid for the current Secretary of State

He helped elect a worthless Oregon attorney as governor and whose only claim to fame is he is gay. Creepy gay. As a Governor he is worthless except to make sure the courts are packed with closet socialists

If you know what 30% of the population never votes then you have a whole lot of votes to do whatever you wish with when there is no care, custody and control of ballots.

Mail in voting is state sanctioned fraud

So no, we are no longer a state. We are occupied territory Does that answer your question sir?

I get that the prediction and plan is that the US Supreme Court overturns this. But what if they don't? Is the plan still to ride with Trump, even if he's off the ballot in several swing states?

GOP is already in the trap and the door slammed behind them. A few people are waking up and realizing while most are still marching right into the slaughter.

Republicans have a MASSIVE problem on their hands right now and I truly see no way out.

100 years from now, people will still be talking about how President Trump tried to save this country from itself - If it even exists by then.

Believe me, nobody will even remember Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Chip Roy, etc.

100% guaranteed.

Prediction: USSC knocks COSC dick in the dirt and forces Trump back on the ballot. Trump then carries Colorado in the general and wins in a landslide.

Pandemonium ensues.

If they did this in a true swing state I think shite would hit the fan. Denying tax paying citizens the right to support a former President would be a bridge too far.
