Are you saying that because ABC's parent company is publicly traded where anyone can buy shares of ownership that they are somehow a government institution which must treat people equally? Being publicly traded just means anyone can own a share in the company. Private citizens own the company. The only people a private company has to answer to, provided its not violating the law, is its owners and customers.
