I have no sympathy for Roseanne, although I do have sympathy for the the actors on that show minus John Goodman of course, he'll be fine.
I don't know what many of them had been up to, but I'm pretty sure this was the most successful project they had been a part of for quite some time. Even Roseanne herself was completely irrelevant before the show kicked up again.

I love all the faux outrage from the liberals in this thread. They were completely missing last week when espn hired BACK olbermann after all the shite he’s spewed on social media and live television. 100% blatant false accusations.

The irony is that the whole point of her new show, before it came out, was how she wanted to portray a real American family, and how Trump voters aren't all racist monsters or something. Which hey that's fine... but in reality she is the epitome of the stereotypical terrible Trump voter. So great job getting that point across Roseanne.
