There isn't a country or place on planet Earth that views the US as a paper tiger. We have a long and illustrious history of waging wars with those that deserve it, and creating excuses to go to war with those that don't (e.g., Iraq, like a few years ago, for fricks sake. Are you guys fricking goldfish?) when a war will serve the interests of the people presently in power. We also have a military budget that is incomprehensible. Even the most megalomaniac asshats would begrudgingly admit we're not to be fricked with.

I agree with the earlier poster, let’s just leave them there, and get our allies to embargo the whole fricking region. We don’t need to be dividing ourselves further over some worthless lunatics who are still pissed off about some previous dictator they traded in for their current dictator and none of them were alive when the first guy was running shite. We have more to lose than Iran if we take any military action. Iran has nothing to lose by bating us into some stupid fight, and there’s nothing more dangerous than someone with nothing to lose
