I actually do feel some sympathy for the family, but why is there NEVER any evidence of death threats? Seems like they would be communicated in ways that are easy to record.

If they have been receiving threats, they need to report that right away to the authorities. It’s a criminal offense. But you know what? It’s all bullshite so she won’t file anything with any police agency.

But Mom and Dad? You're going to have to convince me that they spent years completely unaware of Karmelo's social media presence and the very public pictures that emerged on day one of little choir boy Karmelo throwing up gang signs and posing with AK47s and Glocks. Mom and dad knew about this behavior, and didn't do a goddamn thing about it. And the fricking lawyer wants to blame the school for not cancelling the track meet due to passing rain?
Ok.
Karmelo bears sole responsibility and I'll never say otherwise. But if the parents are distraught and fearful about anything, perhaps they should have intervened in their son's life before he murdered someone. They knew it would eventually come to this.
