Honestly a lot of these potheads in this thread would probably steal that kids weed if they needed a fix bad enough

That's what's so funny about the weed argument.

These people just want to get high.

They can't accept legalization on the medical side as the end. They need it too because they are drug adicts. They don't give a crap about that kid unless his story makes their desire to get high legal.

Ok, do you want to live in a free country? Don't bother answering, because you don't. You want to dictate people's behavior even if it doesn't harm anyone. All you want to do is judge others from your glass house. No one can sing the Star Spangled Banner and actually believe it if they don't think pot should be legalized.

I know someone who took it while on chemo and the side effects were awesome. Not only helped her appetite but other things disappeared.

Pot is already very easy to get. Making it legal just takes away a large chunk of the black market. People in Denver don't smoke more weed than people in Houston.

You sound like you're getting really angry, how many hours has it been since your last marijuana fix? Got the cold sweats yet?

Don't give me that free country BS.

I have absolutely no issues whatsoever with someone growing at home, consuming at home and staying at home.

But you know damn well that just like alcohol that's not what happens.

I have an uncle who died from a very aggressive blood cancer a few years ago and it was unbelievable how much pain he was in at the end. He definitely could've used something like cannabis oil to make himself more comfortable before he finally went.

The people that prevent this kid from taking CBD oil should go to jail.

Yep, smoking dope has left you in a state where you can't chill without it. Proof that weed is bad for you.

Say nope to dope.

MY BROTHER DIED AFTER OVERDOSING ON MARIJUANA

He was invited by the "cool kids" to hang out at some kids house whose liberal parents had left for the weekend.

My brother, always a moral and thoughtful individual, wanted to attend because it was one of those massive house parties that he'd never been to.

Well, as was later recalled by some of his friends at the party, he was pressured into smoking marijuana. He ended up smoking the entire pack of marijuana cigarettes.

Not long after he went into convulsions and started foaming at the mouth. The people at the party held back calling 9/11 for almost 10 minutes.

When the paramedics finally arrived they could do nothing to save him.

The autopsy revealed he had 3 times the lethal dosage of THC in his blood.

But I'm sure everyone here will deny my story and the fact that my brother died after smoking that illegal narcotic.

Sin taxes are the most moralistic bullshite this country ever devised...and the name is a misnomer...it would be called "biggest easy tax" because people are gonna people.

The biggest toxin and poison to tax that would make the most money is Sugar. But you can't because it's in everything...even cans of green beans.

But Sugar has had the most detrimental effect on human population - far worse than tobacco - and alcohol and weed doesn't even enter into the picture when it comes to detrimental health effects like sugar or alcohol.

Everybody loves them some sugar but they're against weed.

They've found that sugar has the same affect on the brain as cocaine. We all know tons of people who can't quit sugar. They are sugar addicts and obese on death's doorstep lost causes. Worst drain on our healthcare systems - obesity...far more than tobacco.

Cigs are $10 bucks a pack in California but you can buy a pound of Sugar for $1.

I rarely find myself disagreeing with your angles. And I don't necessarily here either BUT... I think having a super strong opinion about this one way or another is hasty. It isn't as simple as a harmless plant and pot smokers getting legal weed and tax dollars. A gigantic amount of stuff changes when you decriminalize and/or legalize something like this, but particularly legalizing it.

Let it continue in Oregon/Colorado/California. Let the long-term-everything happen there first. Give it another 10-20 years and rehash (pun intended) the results and make a fully educated course of action.

That's the crux of my argument that you can't address, you fascist twat. If it's a free country, people should be free to smoke weed.

Leave the country sometime. You learn almost immediately that America really isn't the Land of the Free. It's the Land of the Delusionally Free. Living in China, there was so much shite I could get away with there that I couldn't here. That is an eye opener when you feel like you have more rights in a brutal communist country than you do here. My parents, while only there for a week, were shocked when they visited me there.

Ok, genius: what happens when a bunch of hippies own some greenhouses and sell weed? Corpses in the streets? Or maybe a decent society that would be no worse than people owning a brewery?
