I get that. And that's probably in part what's going on.
But the fact is, they can say whatever they want under SaD without fear of legal reprisal. Which means they very well CAN shed light, but instead we get the "trust me, bro".

Probably because she is not free to do so.
If this administration did not have a dismissive and defensive disposition toward the Epstein files and instead took the issue head-on, names would be outed.
In fact if this administration does not change it's disposition toward the Epstein issue, this issue will dog Trump for the rest of his term.
How can the Trump administration flip the script?
Have the DOJ interview the victims that stood up during Bondi's testimony yesterday and follow those leads.
Investigate Lex Wexner as a co-conspirator. (He's an obvious person of interest.)
Fire Howard Lutnick for lying about his Epstein associations.
Un-redact the names.
Taking this issue head on will benefit this administration though public support.
Continuing to dismiss it will only make this potentially mortal wound fester and become more politically dangerous.

I did not say anything about a crime.
Lutnick is Trump's wingman. Where ever Trump is, Lutnick is by his side a lot.
Lutnick said he cut off contact with Epstein after he was found guilty of crimes. Epstein gets out of prison and as the files reveal Lutnick continues his association with Epstein. So much so he takes his family to a "luncheon" on Little St. James.
If Trump is okay with dealing with those political optics, good luck.

I haven't seen any evidence proving Lutnick was involved in the Epstein Sex Trafficking Scandal, Lutnick's issue, like many elites, is their propensity to look straight into the cameras and lie.
I think anyone involved/employed by the government who's caught lying under oath should be immediately removed from their position......period. How can we trust the government and vital institutions when these powerful people lie with impunity....many times under oath?
