The perfect reason for being armed with at least a .45 cal semi-auto pistol. 90% of police shootings are close range, and something to knock the perpetrator backward should be a MUST.

Why do so many black folk assault Asians?

Aim center mass because your likelihood of hit increases exponentially with increased target size. The torso is much larger than the head. Also, stopping power is critical in stalling the advance of an aggressor. 9mm will kill someone and is a very effective and useful round with its own benefits, hence its immense popularity. However, "stopping power" begins at .40 caliber. Step up to .45 caliber and self defense ammo designed specifically to expend most of its energy within inches of impact, and a single shot to the chest at inside of 20 feet distance is actually the equivalent of being hit full force by the swinging bat of a MLB baseball player.
But these are just secondary and tertiary observations. This was an incredibly clean shoot by the cop, and that Amazon was straight up psychotic with a death wish. Tough too, took multiple direct shots and still kept coming before slowly crashing down like a sycamore in a hurricane. As said multiple times above, the officer's biggest mistake was waiting so long. If anything, this will help the officer's self defense case. He showed incredible restraint. That's the scary thing though, these cops see a black aggressor coming towards them and they automatically hesitate knowing that they're 100% going to get the Derek Chauvin treatment if they react. It's sad.
Not sad for the lady, though. Not one bt. When your FA = 10, your FO will = 10, and this is exactly what happened.

Meh, much can be said for getting back on target for follow up shots. Stopping power is great, but nothing tops an accurate mag dump. I carry a G23 in .40 S&W, because I think it's the best of both worlds.
