They need to start comping more shite again and drop all their stupid fricken fees.

I agree but its moving away from that. The days of when the poors could get free drinks all day betting $2 quinellas at the book and 29.99 buffets are long gone on the strip

They are moving to entertainment over gambling and catering to the F1 crowd

Who’s blaming Powell for bad jobs reports?

Full employment is part of the Federal Reserve dual mandate and Powell is the Chair of the Federal Reserve.

Who’s blaming Powell for bad jobs reports? Housing sales because of interest rates maybe, the refinancing of 9 trillion in debt or his mealy faced attitude most definitely

Trump.

I have a handful of the best sportsbooks the planet has ever seen on my phone. I can't believe I ever flew out there to wait in long lines just to put in a small bet. I just don't see much reason to go there other than for a conference.

I think we all realized that when MAGA started rolling back the State Jobs (Socialism) that unemployment would rise. Same with the added cost of tariffs as Manufacturing is forced to come back with jobs to those that consume the products. And this lag time for economic expansion does not even factor in the exponentially increasing effects of AI/Robotics which will soon be in play.

Finessing this won’t be cake. Especially with the Dem Socialist throwing gas in the fire.

People still haven't figured out how it works?

Democrat president - BLS overestimates and always revises down quietly

Trump president - BLS underestimates and revises up quietly

It's been pretty consistent for years.

The Fed policy by all means makes for leaner and healthier growth. I was making a comment towards another poster who said Powell was being blamed in that latest report, I wanted to know who was blaming him outright

Anecdotal observations aside, the official reports show that the numbers are significantly down this year.

That’s because Vegas is an outrageously expensive city. I don’t gamble, the city doesn’t interest me in any way.
