I was out of work for 7 months in 2023. I am a highly qualified, experienced professional in my field with well over a decade of experience and an impressive resume. I (a middle-aged straight white male) could barely even get a call back after sending my resume out for hundreds of jobs. I suspected the DEI frenzy was the main culprit because employers in my line of work were very much on board with all that shite. Now I KNOW it was the main reason for the difficulty I experienced.

I finally had to move to friggin' Wisconsin in September to secure a good job... with a very successful family owned company.

I hate this world.

If they're not nonsense dei positions and are actually important positions, then expect the corporations to become less profitable, competent, etc., etc.
