I don’t think it’s victimhood to say that there is two-tiered justice currently unfolding across the country. The argument could even be made, both sides see it one way or the other, based on geography.

what "facts" specifically are you referring to?

That was a general comment, but the facts are case specific. Which case do you want to discuss?

For the record, I am not using that term in this specific argument...or at least with the current posting population ITT.

The real problem arises when you discuss how to fix it.

If you (the general "you") are too caught up and hyper-focused on either your in-group or any out-group, I doubt you can provide a response of any value whatsoever, but I almost guarantee you have no ability to craft a system-wide change.

That’s the over-arching principle of what I’m saying too.

The election occurred 2 months prior, brother.

Well, to get back to the "you've changed" stuff. I have not.

My comment on this has been the same for going on 20 years on this board. Me not getting caught up in that hyper-partisan (which is often manifested in outrage, which has created a culture of expected outrage) is not the same as me changing.

The major issue is that the same population who cries for criminal justice reform when Trump or a Blaze reporter gets arrested will also comment "they're hunting us" in a thread about a black person being arrested. You can't eliminate crimes for Trump and his crew only.

Not did they arrest a NYT reporter who went in at the same time as the Blaze reporter.

Then too, those Kavanaugh insurrectionists impeding government functions really got harsh treatment! You know a few go a $50 fine!

It wasn’t a silly analogy. It’s a pretty direct analogy to the BLM claims.

I’m sure you struggle with the idea of objective truth which makes truth claims interesting.

This week…

A journalist fined $300K per year until she reveals her confidential source.

Another journalist taken into FBI custody for his reporting on Jan 6th.

Don’t think they won’t come for us next.

Only with a fast and loose (Again, you love using malleable concepts you try to argue are objective) version of truth.

You're saying one conviction is the truth while another isn't and not exactly explaining why.

As expected.

Have y'all seen his video on the capital police dude?

Basically 100% proves the feds and their police guys fabricated stories under oath in their convictions of J6 people.

It's damning AF

No wonder they need to shut him up.

Why does it only flow one way?
Adk Merrick Garland. He runs the DoJ. Not me.

I mean that's a very specific incident. Kind of like how Al Quaeda dominated DOJ resources for a time in the early 2000s, for obvious reasons.
They have been on record that they’ve spent more resources than on J6 than anti terrorism. Tney’ve called it their largest operation ever. Yet… basically mobilized no one post 2020 summer of violence across the country.

Large scale incidents within federal purview are not that common.

Oh, I can think of an example.

quote:

Who said that?
Implied. Since you seem to think the DoJ has no one else to go after.

Love the melt over people being charged with crimes they committed. Haven’t like 85% of the LARP’ers from J6 pleaded guilty?

Maybe don't know the numbers.

Lots of people in the Soviet Union also "confessed" to various crimes when threatened with life imprisonment in the gulags.

I mean, if you're saying that those who plead guilty weren't forced to , you're sort of an idiot.
