On a semi-related note, from a quick search and rough math......it looks like on average, state-for-state, close to 15% of the population works for the government, either local, state, or Fed.
ETA: And I don't believe that includes those who are government contractors or work for a company that is reliant upon government contracts.

Black women in the age bracket of 21 to 55 are not 6% of the population, they're 3.2%.
Well, to be fair though, you would have to compare that to the total amount of people in the age bracket of 21 to 55. My guess is it’s probably close to 6% of that population.

I'm shocked it's ONLY 25%.

In Baton Rouge they make up the majority of the staff at the courthouse, the DMV, the post office, and so on. Crazy how that works

6 percent isn’t accurate.
Need to account for the elderly and under 18.

100% this gets spun as racially motivated by Trump.

I wonder what the overall government makeup is?
It feels so incredibly disproportionate. Black women also seem to chase those fricking high level degrees. Interactions with many of these women leave me untrusting of higher education

So. Arguably the stupidest demographic in the country, has a 25% footprint in theoretically preventing stupidity in others.
Yep. Tracks.

Makes you wonder about local and state government doesn't it?
At least in Louisiana anyway. I would bet it follows federal figures.

That’s social justice

That’s way too low, closer to 50% of all government jobs.

JD Vance just jumped up 10 more points over the yet unknown '28 nominee.

Not always.
Some of them are socially conservative, and they pull the Republican levers. I know a lot that voted for Trump last year.

Just watch any press conference covering the national teachers' union. The president is an old witchy "Karen" but the rest on the stage behind her are almost all black females. Safe to assume a lot of the union's expenses are high salaries for its staff.

The Dept of Education isn't doing so well even after spending huge amounts of taxpayer's money.

People apply for jobs where they feel most welcomed. They stay employed in jobs where they feel most appreciated. That is the reason there are so many black women in government jobs.
Let’s find another imaginary conspiracy to push.
