Do you honestly believe that if another civilization found us and were hundreds of years, hell maybe even thousands, millions, or possibly billions of years ahead of us (which is all very likely) then why would our primitive technology help us detect, defend or communicate with a much more advance life form??
Its like if we came across cavemen and showed them a smartphone. What do you think they would think it or what we were? They would not be able to wrap their heads around it. Just like you my friend. What else don't you believe in? Don't be so closed-minded.

Statistically this seems unlikely.
They need to land and run the world here since they are so advanced and smart. Sounds like they are smarter than us. Land the space ship, get off and take over. Undoubtedly we are not as advanced as they are if they can travel light years to us and we are incapable to travel 23.381 billion miles plus from earth.
If it is true, can we trade The Biden's for a group of them?

My only question about this is why do they have lights? A superior intelligence able to cross the universe shouldn't need landing lights on their craft. It's not like anything is going to run into it.

There is literally no evidence to even suggest that other planets harbor life besides Earth. These "UFO" sightings are bullshite claims to get people reading articles and give news networks higher ratings. That's all they are. It's no different from "bigfoot sightings"

It’s really hard to “shoot down” something that either doesn’t technically exist in our universe or only partially exists some of the time. Amazing things happen when you start playing with space time.

How do you know they are landing lights, position lights or anti-collision lights? That is what we perceive them to be because that is what our human minds tend to do, make sense of something we know nothing about. What if these lights are an energy output of their propulsion system?
By the way what you call "landing lights" which is incorrect in your understanding as landing lights are primarily used, you guessed it "upon landing" and are usually affixed to the landing gear. You may have meant position lights....but anyway. You do realize that even our modern-day fighters do not have to fly constantly with their position and anti-collision lights on right? Do you think we send our fighter jets into hostile territory with lights aglow??
Whatever these lights are and why they are visible is probably not by mistake.
