That (un)American Idiot has the Brain Stew. So I guess Wake Me Up When September Ends.

I support his decision. Goodbye

Will he renounce 20 years of shitty music?

Absolutely.
That dude dressed like a caricature of punk and wrote bubble gum pop tunes.
I actually liked Dookie CD back in the day.
Now, I change the channel on any Green Day.
Something I don't do for Rage. Although rich spoiled Leftists, Rage Had an authenticity to it that Green Day could never touch.
Good Riddance, BJ.
And we all acknowledge Rage is part of the Machine.

I mean the 90's are over, so thank you for your music from that era, but bye bye.

I’m not all the way there but it’s way better than it was under Biden.

But I really got into Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins, Oasis, Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, and Green Day. I don't care about their politics. The 90s music scene definitely did not suck.

I hope he had the time of his life.
With that said, Dookie and American Idiot were absolutely fundamental albums for me growing up. I wouldn’t be the songwriter I am today without them. When I was growing up, I looked up to Billy Joe just like I did Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl, Tom Delonge, Pete Townsend, Paul McCartney, Jimi Hendrix, and Jimmy Page.

Yeah, I think Green Day had one hit.
